Yaaaaasssssssssssss to the chicken and waffles!! Always fresh!! Never over cooked like some places will do! Great atmosphere and the owners are awesomesauce!

I work in the area and a coworker suggested the place. We arrived just before closing time and bit was not a problem at all! We were greeted with a smile! The service was top notch. Food was plentiful and prepared to order. Can I say it was super delicious. I had the chicken & waffle as it caught my eye from the time I opened the menu. The wings were mouth watering and the waffle was a perfect compliment .. needless to say I will return! We enjoyed the VIP like service... Showed up @ 130 pm and close at 2 pm. They were very grateful. The food was fresh and hot and so tasty. I think the team at This Iz Itneeds to be commended!

Well- done chicken and sides, large portions, and good prices. I had the salad. Lol! It was delicious, but let's not get confused- this is not a health food salad. It is sliced iceberg, perfectly fried chicken, thin onion rings and cheese! With ranch on the side! My friend got the chicken wings and fries. Also lovely, and satisfying. I am really a vegetarian. Like 99.9% of the time. But this particular afternoon, I wanted to just like, be there, then. And it wasn't a waste- you know- if I'm going to eat another sentient being- I don't want to leave it on my plate. This was a great spot! And the breakfast- can't wait to come back and try that out! Also, the breakfast looks amazing! All the classics- but made with care, attention to detail, love. I spoke to the owner while waiting- she notes she would rather close the restaurant than have people who are sloppy cooking for her! That's a real dedication to quality! Also, they have tea, lemonade, and cans of soda. And a kids menu! I would be recommend ordering ahead if you're time- conscious. They will get started on your order son you don't have to wait as long- for take out and eat in meals!

We didnt even get a chance to sit down. My family came to enjoy a delicious meal and spend some real $$$, we were told we cannot be accommodated and we should have called first. It was 11 of us. When you try to support black owned businesses but you get turned away, its very disheartening. We will never patronize this establishment again.
